Winter Shorts (no, not a garment)

Today, after 10 weeks of preparation, I preformed on stage at Performance works on Granville Island. It was really fun, and at one time I accidentally ripped through the fragile paper sheet of the fourth wall! Oops. There were two performances, one at 4, and one at 7. If you want to see me in the next performance, or any of the other actors, we will be at Performance Works in March. Tickets are at $15. Until next time, for anyone reading my blog, do something! (fun)

Where the Wild Things Are

Aside

Today I went to Where the Wild Things Are. It is a highly interactive play suited for younger children [3-8 1/2 years old (0 1/4-2 if you have a leap year birthday and count it like that)] that tells the story of Where the Wild Things Are.

This play is presented by Carousel Theater for Young People, a company in Granville Island who puts on a lot of plays at the Waterfront theater across the street, but this one is presented at Performance Works down the road.

WARNING: if you are an adult and you think that you want to bring your child to this play, you might need to pretend to be a tree!

Personally I think I have outgrown it, but for the other children it was probably Awesome! 4.9 out of 5 (95%)!

So this is my review of the play, if you would like to read more in the future,Click Here.
